"I see Erika as a valued resource with parenting issues and feel secure that my child is well loved and cared for while I am working."
-Kristin Little, 2010
See what parents have to say about our business...
"Chiquitos is a warm and loving learning environment and the owners are like family. Our second child is there now with many other families also currently enrolled with more than one child. I would take my children nowhere else. With 28 years of childcare experience I have the highest regard for the care and developmental education my children are receiving."
-Kurt Wilhelmson, 2014
"Erika really cares about her students. She's been in business for so long and had repeat customers for a reason. My daughter has been in her care for 7 months now. I'm glad I made the decision to enroll her in chiquitos because of the small, home environment. A large scale daycare with employees constantly being turned over is not for me. Erika takes the time to talk to you about what your child is learning and things they are interested in. She genuinely cares about all of her students."
-Katherine Vittum, 2014
"We have had our children at Chiquitos for 4.5 years. This is a safe, loving, in-home daycare. My children have received excellent care and developed a foundation in Spanish at the same time."
-Susan Gimble, 2010
"My son has been at Chiquitos for a year and a half and I love love love the care and attention he receives. Erika is such a warm, calm loving caregiver who has a wonderful grasp of child development and focuses upon the emotional skills and growth while also teaching the needed educational material he will need to be prepared for school. The place is small- don't know how she does it, but everything runs smoothly. I really appreciate the age diversity of kids which teaches my son to care for the younger ones and interact well with older kids. The Spanish language skills are taught in a cultural context with the foods and activities she provides. I see Erika as a valued resource with parenting issues and feel secure that my child is well loved and cared for while I am working. Its a bit more expensive but I don't have to pay for language classes and it feels like I have a sweet, resourceful, Latina grandma (young grandma!) added to my family."

"Our first child started at Chiquitos in 2006, and now we have 2 children there. Erika and her staff are very considerate and loving with the kids, but are also strict with discipline when they need to be.
We love the fact that everyone speaks Spanish all day long. Our 4-year-old child knows how to count to ten in Spanish, knows most colors in Spanish and knows many, many other Spanish words. Our almost-2-year-old says "agua" and "basura" ("garbage") too!
We would highly recommend Chiquitos to someone looking for quality, affordable child care"
